Our school will participate in different activities on the occasion of “Meile der Demokratie” for the first time next January. The idea is to position ourselves against extreme right wing and anti-democratic ideologies.

We intend to support the initiative of “LebenLernen Secondary School” to knit a colourful scarf (shawl) for democracy. The idea is to knit a colourful scarf of mile - length. It will be rolled out on Breiter Weg  on that day, 850 metres are done, but a little rest is missing to complete the mile! Therefore we ask all students and parents / grandparents to support “LebenLernen Secondary School” in the knitting. The pieces should be 10cm wide, there are no limits in the length. All those who feel unable to knit, can donate balls of wool, there should be something in every home…
